Love to write? Need some friendly support and feedback? Join area writers for a collaborative workshop for inspiration, gentle critiques and guidance on how to get started.
Writing is a good vehicle to express one's thoughts and ideas. With that said, the Roxbury Library invites community residents to be part of the newly formed Roxbury Writers' Workshop. Inspiration, guidance, support and gentle critiques will be offered at the monthly meetings. Experience is not necessary, only the desire to put pen to paper and write. Tools required: pen and paper, tablet or laptop -- whatever helps the writing process.
Assignment fort June: Write the first chapter of a short story or novella or a book. The piece should be between 500-600 words, no less or more.
All are welcome -- what is shared at the Workshop, stays in the Workshop.
