Technology Services

Computers

The library has PCs in the Adult Services area, the Teen room and the Children's room. All computers have Microsoft Office, high speed access to the web, and the ability to print.

Headsets are required for watching movies or listening to music. Earbuds are available for purchase at the main help desk. 

WiFi

The entire library is a WIFI hotspot and is free with wifi speeds up to 150 Mbps. 

To join our wireless network, search for LibraryWireless in your available networks. There is no password requirement. 

Printing

Printing, color or black and white, is available from every public computer. 

B/W printing is $0.15 per page.
Color printing is $0.25 per page.

Mobile Printing

Printing from a mobile device?

To print from a mobile device, download the app and select Roxbury Public Library as your location.



 
Note: use the Library Card Number associated with the print job to retrieve your printout at the library.

Faxing

Fax service is available at the main help desk. Faxes cost $1 per page. 

The library can only send faxes, not receive. 

Photocopier

There is a photocopier for public use. It can support sizes 8.5x11 and 8.5x14. 

  • B/W copies are $0.15 per page
  • Color copies are $0.25 per page

Gadgets

The library loans Launchpads preloaded with a variety of children's apps. We also loan iPads for use in the library only. Please ask a staffer from the main help desk or the children's desk for more info!
