The United States will celebrate its 250th anniversary, or Semiquincentennial, on July 4, 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This milestone is being commemorated through a year-long series of events/programs in Roxbury Township. - Morris County’s “Two If By Sea” campaign on Friday, April 18th, 2025 – commemorating the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s historic ride on April 18, 1775.
- Morris Canal Inclined Plane 2E celebration of restoration and unveiling of interpretive signs - Saturday, May 3, 2025 11am in Ledgewood at Morris Canal Park.
- Pathways of History Tours of the King House, King Store and Riggs Saltbox House on Sunday, May 4, 2025, noon – 5pm.

- Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Monday, May 26th, 2025 and Monday, May 25th , 2026 (10am parade, 11am ceremony) - Paying tribute to all Veterans who fought for our freedom
