Roxbury Library, in partnership with the Lake Hopatcong Foundation and Roxbury Township Recycling, is hosting a Repair Cafe at the library and Roxbury Fire Company No. 2 on Saturday May 3.  Appointments are highly recommended, though there might be room for walk-ins.

Repair services are free, though a fee for specialized parts may be passed along to the owner of the broken item brought in for repair.

Please bring only items you can carry yourself. We will not have volunteers to assist attendees with transporting their items.

There is a limit of 2 items per household. If you are getting knives sharpened, there is a limit of 3 knives per person.

What is a Repair Café? A “Repair Café” is a community-based initiative and movement where people can bring broken household items to be fixed by skilled volunteers, with the goal of reducing waste by repairing items instead of throwing them away. It can be a place to learn basic repair skills and foster a sense of community by sharing knowledge and fixing things together.

Our Repair Cafe will accept items by appointment in the following categories:

At Roxbury Fire Dept Company 2 - 110 Shippenport Rd, Landing

Bicycles, Computers/Electronics, Knife Sharpening, Woodworking

At Roxbury Public Library - 103 Main Street, Succasunna

Household Appliances, Jewelry, Lamps, Misc., Sewing Machine, Textiles
