The Roxbury Public Library will be celebrating Read Across America on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 from 11:00 am-12:30 pm. This annual event highlights the joys and benefits of reading. Created by the National Education Association, Read Across America takes place throughout the country in schools, libraries and community centers to encourage our kids to read.
Each year we host guest readers from Roxbury Township followed by a special program, such as a concert or magic show. After the performance, all children in attendance will go home with a free book! We thank the Friends of the Roxbury Township Public Library for generously underwriting the cost for us.
