Effective January 3, 2022 the Roxbury Public Library no longer charges overdue fines on most Roxbury library materials. Fines are still assessed on specialty items such as museum passes, launchpads, and materials from the Library of Things. Lost and damage fees will also be assessed if needed. More information here.

There are several ways to renew:
Please note that renewals are disabled when someone else has placed a hold on the item.
Autorenew: Items that are eligible for renewal (and have no holds) will automatically renew.
For your convenience, the library offers self-pickup-hold service. When you receive a notification that your requested item is ready, please visit our Hold Pickup shelving located across from the Help Desk. Items are shelved alphabetically by the last name and initial of the first name of the cardholder, which appears on the spine label. Should you prefer that the label lists a pseudonym, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please see a staff member to assist you.
Items retrieved from the Hold Pickup shelving may be checked out at the Help Desk or the Roxbury Public Library app.
