Roxbury Library of Things allows Roxbury Library Card holders to borrow items other than books. Items included in this collection range from board games to metal detectors, instruments, and more. To borrow an item patrons can follow 3 simple steps. Sign in, reserve an item, and book an appointment for pickup. 

The Roxbury LoT is a separate website. Browsing, reservations, and account management occur on the LoT site and not on the regular library catalog! Please note that while borrowing is 100% FREE, the site requires a credit card hold in order to make a reservation. Credit card management and any fees incurred are handled via Stripe, a secure payment processing platform. You will NEVER be charged if you return your thing(s) in time and in the condition you borrowed them in!

How does it work? 

Step 1: Click “Create Account” in the upper right hand corner of the Roxbury Library of Things Site. Create an account using your Roxbury Library Card. From now on, you can just "Log In" instead.

Step 2: Browse our Inventory and find the “Thing” you are looking for. You can browse all items or search by category.

Step 3: Reserve the item you want for the dates you want it. The "Things" have various loan periods, ranging from a few days to a couple of weeks. You can reserve things for a date in the future--like for example, a karoke machine for that party you're planning! And finally...
