The Friends pay for many things:

  • Movie license
  • All costs associated with children's programming (craft supplies, prizes, entertainer fees)
  • All costs associated with adult programming (speaker fees, refreshments, etc)
  • Museum passes
  • and more!

One-Time Donation

3. Make a Donation directly to the Library

Any amount will be welcomed by the library. Amounts exceeding $100 will get you at minimum a bronze leaf on the Legacy Tree in the lobby of the building. Donations received by the library go into the general operating fund supporting the purchase of books and other materials, eContent like eBooks and eAudiobooks, supplies like barcodes, book repair items, and yes, our electric bill! Checks should be made out to The Roxbury Public Library and can be mailed to our address: 103 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ 07876. Please include your contact information so we can thank you! 

What your donation can be used for:

  • $20 = an average new book plus processing
  • $80 = the average cost of an eBook or eAudiobook
  • $150 = two months of the water bill for the library 
  • $250 = annual maintenace of the DVD repair machine
  • $500 = a year's supply of library cards
  • $3,500 = cost of clearing snow from our sidewalks during a typical winter
