NJSAVE provides information for seniors and individuals with disabilities on how to file a single application for assistance paying Medicare premiums, prescriptions drugs costs, hearing aid assistance and living expenses like utilities and food. Additional information is provided on how to save on drivers license fees and property tax. NJSAVE is a program of the NJ Department of Human Service Division of Aging Services.

About the Presenter: Most of Marie Bartello’s career has been in providing professional education and community outreach. She trained as a State Health Insurance assistance Program (SHIP) Medicare counselor in 1996 while working in geriatric outreach. Marie received her certification as a SHIP Medicare counselor in 2012. Currently she provides Medicare counseling in a variety of locations throughout Morris County. She is based at the Morris County SHIP office in Morristown where she provides Medicare counseling and community outreach.
