Make great money. Work the way you like. Have the life you want.

Elaine Pofeldt, business journalist and author, will share insights on how to crack the 7-figure mark for your business. Also, she will bring entrepreneurs featured in her book as well as her Forbes column who have created million-dollar businesses. Ask them all your questions!

Elaine Pofeldt is an independent journalist and speaker who specializes in careers and entrepreneurship. She is author of "The Million-Dollar, One-Person Business" (Random House, January 2018), where she  looks at how entrepreneurs are scaling to $1 million in revenue prior to hiring employees.  As a senior editor at Fortune Small Business magazine, Elaine was twice nominated for the  National Magazine Award for her feature stories. Her work has appeared in FORTUNE, Money, CNBC, Inc., Forbes, Crain’s New York Business and many other business publications  and she is a contributor to the Economist Intelligence Unit.

Elaine is also available to help clients with projects such as blogging, ghost writing, white papers, reports, ebooks, custom content, academic editing, and proposal writing and   editing at Elaine Pofeldt, LLC. Having built traffic Fortune Small Business Online from a fledgling site to one with 2 million to 5 million page views a month, she frequently draws on   her experience to help clients improve their online presence. Her approach is to use simple but effective editorial techniques to maximize a site's appeal and impact, working in   conjunction with designers, developers and others on the client's web team.

Planning an entrepreneurship competition or other small-business-related event? Elaine can help. She founded Fortune Small Business's national Business Plan Competition and ran it   for five years. She has also been a judge in the Crain's New York Business Perfect Pitch Competition at Columbia Business School and Rutger's University's business plan competition.   An experienced moderator, she has run panel discussions for New York Entrepreneurship Week and the Crain's Top Entrepreneurs and Best Places to Work competitions.

Entrepreneurs that will be featured include:

Alicia Schiro is Founder & CEO of Aced It Events.  She is the industry expert in event production, planning and management. She specializes in one-of-a-kind corporate experiences, conferences, galas and retreats.  Her client roster includes A-List celebrities, rock stars, top athletes, celebrity chefs and Fortune 500 companies across the globe. Alicia started her career in event production at J. Walter Thompson, one of the largest advertising agencies in the world, where she created, planned and executed branded experiences for global clients. Alicia was then recruited to help launch an Event Company Start-Up, where she quickly became one of the nation’s leading experts in experiential marketing and led the company to exponential growth. She then went on to launch her own brand, Aced it Events, and was featured in Forbes for growing her company to a multi-million dollar enterprise, as a solo event planner. Alicia was recently featured in BizBash Magazine’s Top 1000 Event Professionals in the U.S. She also previously won the prestigious BizBash People’s Choice Award for Corporate Event Planner of the Year and was interviewed by CNBC, sharing how she built her enterprise. Alicia is launching a video channel in 2020 to help others navigate the event industry, discuss trends, and interview experts in the world of corporate events and experiences.

Laszlo Nadler is a German-Hungarian entrepreneur. In 2012, Laszlo founded Tools4Wisdom.com, a stationary brand of advanced planners designed to boost productivity, reduce stress, and regain focus.
