Memory and Book Cafe: Early Stage Program
Build a support system with people who understand. In partnership with the Alzheimer's Association, this Memory and Book Cafe is conducted by a trained facilitator.

Build a support system with people who understand. In partnership with the Alzheimer's Association, this Memory and Book Cafe is conducted by a trained facilitator.
Through the Memory and Book Cafe, people living with dementia and their care partners will
- Develop a support system
- Exchange practical information on challenges and possible solutions
- Talk through ways of coping
- Share feelings, needs and concerns
- Learn about community resources
- Explore dementia and care giving in fiction -- next common read is The Guardian by Nicolas Sparks. Copies are available through Roxbury Library.
