In the 1920s in Hollywood, everyone is looking for something to fill the void inside of them. Some people hope and pray that they can party forever. By day, they make movies and attempt to transition from the silent, gray era to one of loud sound and vibrant colors. By night, they gather in throngs to consume alcohol and drugs, dance and enjoy the sins of the flesh. Follow Manny, a film assistant, and the diverse group of actors, producers and others who he meets who are trying to achieve success while unleashing every one of their deepest, decadent and depraved desires.
