Dr. Ali Elfandi, an Interventional Cardiologist at Saint Clare’s Health shares the unique challenges for women’s heart health, and the most advanced techniques for diagnosing and treating women’s heart. Dr. Elfandi emphasizes it is critically important for women to understand the potentially serious risk factors to female heart health, as heart disease is the cause of one out of every three deaths in women. Learn about the steps that can be taken to lessen the chances of the disease occurring, symptoms that should not be ignored.
About the Presenter: Dr. Ali Elfandi, an interventional cardiologist to Saint Clare’s Health Medical Group - Cardiology. Dr. Elfandi is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine. He is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Dr. Elfandi graduated from the University of Tripoli in Libya and completed his residency at the University of Tripoli and Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, where he was named chief resident. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at University of Massachusetts-Baystate in Springfield, Mass.
