Explore NY Botanical Garden's iconic annual holiday train show and themed orchid show as well as other amazing exhibits from the past.
Every year the NY Botanical Garden hosts a holiday train show containing replicas of iconic buildings and bridges throughout the five boroughs all made out of bark, leaves, and other natural materials. Model trains travel around the replicas. Every year the garden also hosts a themed orchid show with orchids from all over the world. In addition to these annual exhibits there are many limited engagement exhibits that enhance the already magnificent garden. Explore these annual exhibits as well as some amazing past exhibits.
About the Presenter: Sheila Taub is a retired high school business teacher who taught in Manhattan and Queens. She loves to travel and enjoys sharing what she observes and learns while visiting exciting destinations. She also enjoys visiting interesting places close to home. She presents informative programs with amazing pictures about the destinations she has visited. She presents at libraries and community centers and has been a guest destination lecturer on cruise ships for many years.
