Maximize balance and minimalize the risks for falls:
Drayer Physical Therapist John Fabbiani will talk about the importance of balance, as it relates to the risk of potential falls. You will learn about the key body systems that interact in order to maintain balance, the potential risk factors for falls, recognizing early signs of higher fall risks, and covering modifiable risk factors to ultimately prevent the risk of a fall. Interventions delivered specifically from physical therapy services, will be included throughout this presentation in providing examples in how to maintain and improve balance. By the end of the session, you’ll be able to identify potential risk factors for yourself or your loved ones, understand preventative measures, and know how to promote a healthier and active lifestyle in order to improve one’s quality of life.
