This is your opportunity to visit, some say, the real “Little Italy.” Over the past several years, Mario Medici has visited and collected the history of the many second, third, and fourth generation shop owners along Arthur Avenue and adjoining streets. From pastas to pizzas, tripe to prime meats, and octopus to baccala, it’s all here. Shoppers come from all over the tri-state area to shop for bread, fresh mozzarella, and pastas, along with the many other wares of the area. Whether you are looking to visit “Little Italy in the Bronx” for shopping, lunch, or just want an enjoyable program of “discovery,” you’re sure to enjoy this session with Mario.
