Come hear three local singer-songwriters -- Route One, Mike Herz, and Sharon Klein-- perform for 30 minutes each.

ROUTE ONE
Route One (Mikal Federici & Anna Savchuk) is a singer/songwriter duo formed in 2024, in Asheville, North Carolina. Following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the pair moved north, resettling in Warwick, N.Y. With scores of clever and catchy original music, along with handfuls of complementary covers, Route One touches on notes of folk, pop, rock and blues, combining the standard musical forms into a package that is all their own. Between sweet, mellifluous harmonies, shadowy minor-key pieces, or charging rock progressions, Route One explores the range of the American musical idiom, with lyrical content that does just the same. The clean, unburdened two-piece arrangement between Federici & Savchuk gives listeners a chance to connect with both the duo and the songs they deliver, making for intimate performances audiences are sure to remember. MIKE HERZ
Since 2013, New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Mike Herz has been crafting albums that blend poignant lyricism with disarming honesty, earning him a reputation for his sharp turns of phrase and evocative storytelling. He’s performed up and down the East Coast and beyond, with featured appearances at the NJ Folk Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and Rocky Mountain Folk Festival. His latest release, Fine Stories, is a five-song collection that finds beauty in life’s detours and the poetry hidden in everyday setbacks. With warm acoustic textures, intimate storytelling, and emotive cello accompaniment, Herz creates music that’s equal parts wry, wistful, and deeply human. From mismatched socks to transatlantic heartbreak, Fine Stories captures what Herz does best — finding truth and connection in the small moments that make us who we are. SHARON KLEIN
An accomplished fingerstyle guitar player and prolific songwriter, Sharon hales from the Hudson Valley, NY. A veteran of the Greenwich Village folk music scene of the 90’s, Sharon writes story songs that are miniature memoirs of a generation and times gone by. She has been compared to Mary Gautier and John Prine. “Masterful songs in the most direct and honest way. A cinematic song painter and lyrical storyteller, her songs are conversational, impeccably phrased, and profoundly compassionate.
