Celebrate the new Lunar New Year (a/k/a Chinese New Year)! Based on the cycles of the moon, this new year, the Year of the Horse, begins February 17, 2026 and is celebrated for 14 days.
During our celebration, you will learn more about the twelve animals of the Chinese New Year from our local musical maestro and public school teacher, Mrs. Ellen Ng. Delight your ears with a collection of traditional music while you learn some classic paper folding, called origami, led by Roxbury Library staff.
This celebration is geared to teens 15+, adults, and seniors. Please wear RED (or GOLD or another BRIGHT color)!
