Matt (Kevin Hart) struggles to raise his daughter after he suddenly becomes a single father when his wife dies just a day after giving birth to her.

Matt is a man who is struggling to raise his infant daughter after he suddenly becomes a single father when his wife dies just a day after giving birth to her. Although he was unprepared for all the challenges that taking care of a child on his own would bring, he is determined to do all he can to be the kind of parent his daughter needs. He has accepted all the difficulties and responsibilities related to being her main caregiver, from having to learn how to change her dirty diapers, to eventually having to learn how to do her hair.
